The Maine Cat 41 is a definite “must-see” at this year’s Annapolis Boat Show. This modern design features a totally unique use of the bridgedeck space by combining the salon and cockpit into one huge great room measuring 10-1/2’ wide by 15-1/2’ long. This entire area easily converts from an enclosed pilothouse for complete weather protection to a wide-open bridgedeck with the tinted Strataglass windows rolled-up. Always under the protective cover of our stylish hardtop, you can enjoy a cooling breeze even in a tropical anchorage. Visibility from any seat in the cockpit is excellent for 360 degrees. From the central helm seat you can easily see all four corners, making maneuvering in tight quarters simple and safe for one person.

Designed to be safely single-handed at sea, the Maine Cat 41 includes an efficient self-tacking jib that makes this performance cruiser a joy to sail to weather. All sail and daggerboard control lines are lead to the cockpit. One person, from the safety of this protected area, can easily perform all require sail handling duties without ever going on deck. Winches are oversized and the main halyard Lewmar 50 is standard electric. Even the anchor can be lower and raised from the remote switch on the helm console operating our standard electric Lewmar V-3 windlass.
